Are You Ready For The Big Change In February Of 2009

The big change is fast approaching. On February 17, 2009 all full-power broadcast television stations in the United States will stop broadcasting on analog airwaves and begin broadcasting only in digital. This digital change will improve picture quality and offer more channels to TV viewers. We are finally prepared for the change after improving a few things with our TV set up. We ordered our coupons to purchase our converter boxes. These coupons are worth $40.00 each and you are allowed 2 per household. We saved $80.00 on the boxes, which were only $60.00 a piece. The boxes ended up costing us around $20.00 a piece. So order your coupons It's totally worth it. We also did some research and found out that we could keep our old antenna on the roof to pick up the new HDTV signal. We simply had to update the antenna wire and hook the TV up to the convert box. Then amazingly we had digital TV. The picture is fantastic and I can't believe how many extra channels we can pick up. Of course if you have recently purchased a new HDTV then there is no need to purchase a converter box. The new flat panel HDTV's being sold already have the digital turner included inside the set.
