About six months ago my favorite vacuum cleaner bit the dust. We had to go out searching for a new vacuum cleaner, which I wasn't happy about. Who wants to spend money on a vacuum cleaner? Right? Especially for the price you have to pay for one of these bad boys. To say the least I wasn't impressed. Though the hubby seems to like it. I vowed to never get another "bagless" vacuum cleaner since I thought it was a serious mess emptying the canister and the filters were insanely priced! I bought an American made bag variety after struggling with a canister vac for about three years!! But good luck with the Dyson. It's supposed to be good!
