I came across this amazing site called Sited and Blogged. This site is just chalked full of interesting information and giveaways all from a variety of bloggers. How cool is that? I was making my daily visit and was reading a post about February being blog luv month. The goal is to leave positive comments for your fellow bloggers. It's been far and few, but I've received my share of negative comments and it always drives me nuts. I never understand why people use their energy leaving negative comments. It's such a downer. Who wants to receive those. Not me. That's not what the blogging world is all about. Lets share the love. There's already to much negativity in our world today. Why bring it into the blogging world. I saw this too when I was blog reading. What a great idea. I think the negative comes with the good. We all have a option to delete what we don't want, which is wonderful. Don't that them to heart they just have a opinion.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the old adage "if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all". Unfortunately, there are a lot of mean people out there. I've only gotten one "off" comment and it was probably a hoax. I did post it and commented on their comment. Wouldn't it be great if the world were full of 'mini me's'? Not!!! It takes all kinds to make this wonderful world. Be thankful that we are the positive ones...those negative nellies have to live inside their skins. yuck

ReplyDeleteI'm with you for the most part. Sometimes I can be sarcastic which may be interpreted as negative but I try to only leave those kind of comments where I know they will be understood. But outright negativity is not necessary!!! Blog love. Totally. :)
