The New Look

I did it again. I was getting tired of the look of my blog and decided to give it a face lift. I don't know why I do this to myself. I know that I'm going to have problems implementing the new template. I guess I'm glutting for punishment. I did finally figure out how to save all my widgets before the blog makeover, which made the transition much easier. Though don't ask me how I did it. I had to find the information off another generous bloggers site. I'm so glad there are knowledgeable bloggers out there. Thank god for directions. I did learn quit a bit about computer code today. I managed to make my blog dimensions a little larger by playing with some numbers in my template. Now I'm fascinated with this thing we call web design. I think I'm going to have to pick myself a book up on the subject. The only damage that I can see is that I lost my blog list. I also noticed that at the top of the blog it usually says my e-mail address, dashboard and sign In or out. Those words are completely gone. I now have to go straight to the blogger.com site to log in. Uggg! That's a pain. I have absolutely no idea how to fix that. Any suggestions are welcome. I've been trying to put my blog list back together all night, but I just can't seem to remember all my favorite sites. So, if you were once on my blog list give me a shout and I'll add you back on again. Please don't mind my mess. I should be up and running at full speed in a few days. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Hugs

  1. I hope you are having a great weekend too.. And really strange how the sign in is gone, I didn't think you could get rid of that, LOL..

    But, I love the new look, I am sure you will work out the kinks in no time!

  4. Some templates use this code to hide Blogger navigation bar:
    #navbar-iframe {height:0px; visibility:hidden; display:none}

    If you find similar code at Edit HTML tab, try add /* */ to deactivate it:
    /* #navbar-iframe {height:0px; visibility:hidden; display:none} */

    Hope that helps, don't forget to back-up though.
