Caldecott winner Maurice Sendak’s classic tale of a young boy and his wild forest adventure will surely please your child—and the child within you. When a mischievous boy is sent to bed without supper, he sails off to a place where the ‘wild’ things are. Sendak’s beautiful illustrations reaffirm the notion that there’s no place like home.

I bought this book for my daughter when she was two. At first I thought she might be afraid of the monsters in the book but she wasn't and loved reading it. It's amazing, imaginative, fun, with wonderful illustrations. A great read for any age. I purchased this book at Children's Book of the Month Club where you can find more fantastic books just like this one.

We were members of the book of the month club when my boys were little. No wonder it seems like I have read all of these books. They sure are wonderful.
