Am I Addicted To Shoes?

This morning I decided to take the little one and head up to Kohls. They have all their clearance sales going on plus I wanted to find a swim suit cover up for our little vacation that we have planned for August. To bad I couldn't just swim in the cover up. God, how I hate wearing a bathing suit. If only I was 20 years old again and a size 7. LOL!! So we get up there and I find my swim suit cover up. It's black and it matches my suit perfect. I love it! It was 50% off. So I got it for $13.00. You just can't beat that price. I mosey through the kids section and see that they have toys on sale. Buy one get one 1/2 off. So my daughter and I find some really cute my little pony stuff and end up throwing that in the cart. We finally make it around to the shoe section. I'm always drawn to the shoes. It's like I'm in a trance. Now remember my intentions for going to Kohls was to only look for that swim suit cover up. Nope, not me I have to check out all the clearance shoes and all the full price shoes. Yes, you guessed it I ended up coming home with a new pair of shoes. They were on sale for $32.95. I'm going to a wedding in August and I hate the shoes that I originally bought to go with my outfit. These new shoes are much more comfortable and will go with my outfit perfectly. My outfit is brown and I needed shoes that were the perfect shade of brown to go along with it. Right? I'll be honest I've purchased six pair of shoes just in the past few months. They're not the most expensive shoes but non the less they are still another pair of shoes. I know this sounds crazy. I've always been like this. I just love shoes. My husband thinks I'm just mad! Of course I have to hide the new shoes in my closet so the hubby won't see that I bought yet another pair. He won't even notice by the time we go to the wedding in August. I really and truly think I'm addicted to shoes.

  1. I thought we were going shopping for the cover up. I was thinking tomorrow night. I also have a 20% off coupon for Kolhs. I'm glad you found something. I know you do not have as many shoes as I do. I have to show you my closet someday. I have rubbermaid tubs full plus the back of the closet door and 2 other shoe racks.

  2. I am also addicted to shoes, and my husband also thinks I am mad. So did my mom when I was in high school... I just can't help it! They're so cute, and much easier to fit than something such as a swimsuit!! :)
