The weekend was busy but we managed to get in some fun. The hubby of course worked another long day on Saturday. He managed to make it home around 3:30 pm to enjoy our daughter before he passed out for the night from exhaustion. Sunday we actually made it up to our lake cottage to enjoy the boat and a few of our friends for the day. As always I'm so content spending the day out on the water. It was nice to get together with our friends who we haven't seen in about a year. Way to long. The only downer about my weekend was that I received some bad news on Saturday morning from my cousin. My great Aunt Creso passed away Saturday morning after a long battle with breast cancer. She was 84 and lived a long and happy life. The funeral is scheduled for Tuesday morning at 10 am. I'm still not sure I'm going to be able to make it. I'm always going to a funeral on this side of the family. It hit me like a brick the other day that most of my family is gone now. I only have one more great uncle that is still with us today. I remember the days when these people were younger and just full of life. It's seems someone passes away about every three months. UGGG!! It's starting to wear on me emotionally. I just don't deal with death very well. But who does? I hope all my blog friends out there also had a great weekend. Happy Monday to all!!
