Why Write A Hateful Blog? It Makes No Sense To Me.

Today I've decided to voice my opinion about something that has been bothering me for a few weeks now. The past twelve Thursday's I've been playing along with the Thursday Thirteen meme. I really enjoy reading all the other members Thursday 13 posts. It always puts a smile on my face. I've met a few blog buddies and found a few sites that I like to go back to and visit from time to time. People are always kind in their comments and everyone seems to be having a great time playing along with the weekly Thursday 13. Most post are just plain fun and the themes are always on a positive note. The last two weeks I've been getting comments from someone who seems to be a bit racist or maybe they are just very opinionated. Some of their TT's seem to be a touch morbid and hateful in my opinion. I don't know, maybe it's me being to sensitive. When reading this blog his words actually scared me and made me sick to my stomach. I know it might sound silly but I feel offended by their blog and NO I really don't want to comment back. I refuse to be a part of their Thursday 13. It's not my style to be hateful and I won't subject myself to being exposed to it. This is the only blog so far that I've viewed that seems a little warped to me. I definitely think people should have freedom of speech. It is one of our constitutional rights as Americans and I do believe this blog is written by an American. I just don't think it should be in words of hate against other people. I swear I have a sign on my forehead that says if you're a nut job come be my friend. LOL!! If you've experience the same thing leave me a comment. It would be nice to know that I'm not the only one that has experienced this. Okay, I think I feel better now. I'm done rambling. Thanks to all my blog friends for listening and I hope everyone has a great 4th of July.

  1. I hear you on this one. We all have topics that make us angry, and it's ok to blog about them. But the goal should be to come out of the anger and negativity and to be open to insights to do just that.

Love and hate both spread quickly, I find. This is what they have in common. So why not stick to the love and let the hate wither? Good for you for saying this.

  2. People say hateful, hurtful things and blogging is, in my opinion, an outlet for some. I don't subscribe to that theory, yet sometimes I will vent on my blog.

I don't believe the T13 is the arena for that. That is the very reason I have my blog set to reject posts that I find offensive and don't wish to PASS THE CRAP FORWARD.

    You are not alone.

  3. Nope...I havent experienced it thank God but I would definitely make a mental note of his blog and not venture back again. People are retarded sometimes. It amazes me how they can be filled with so much hate, it does nothing but waste energy.
