Grant A Wish This Holiday Season

When the holiday season starts to blossom I always have this need to count my blessings for the many wonderful things in my life. There are so many others out there that are less fortunate. I often wondered if there was a way I could contribute to our military families in need. My question was answered when I saw this interesting commercial on TV explaining how to help these military families. It's called the heroes at home wish registry. It's simple, all you have to do is make a donation and the cash donations will be distributed in Sears gift cards to families that have registered for the program. Wouldn't it warm your heart to know that your donation was used to cloth a child who's father was over seas fighting for your freedom? Wouldn't it make you proud to know that your cash donations went toward the purchase of a Christmas gift for a child who's mother couldn't afford Christmas gifts this year. I know that it would touch my heart. That's why I've decided to make a donation to this worthy cause this year. Though I do have to mention that this will be a donation out of the kindness of your heart, because the donations made are not tax-deductible. I'm so proud of our service men and women for doing a fantastic job defending our country. This is a great way for people to show their appreciation to these families. Stop by for a visit if you're interested in granting a wish this holiday season.

  1. This is a good way to give. It's hard when they have so many rules. I'm always afraid my letters and gifts will end up in the garbage before a soldier ever knew about it.
