A Firefighter Gives Koala A Drink (2009 Australian Bushfires)

I want to send my thoughts and prayers out to all the families who have lost their loved ones and their homes during the Bush fires in Australia. It's such a terrible thing to see this happening all the way across the world. There has already been 200 deaths and countless animal deaths. I saw this photo on The Ellen DeGeneres show this morning and just wanted to share. Check out this sweet fire fighter who stopped to offer a drink of water to this tired Koala bear. I hope Australia's officials get this fire under control soon. Thanks to You Tube for the great video.

Thanks for stopping by my little place on the web.

  6. It's very sad what is going on with these fire. They are saying some of them were set. How mean is that for someone to do something like that. What and nice fire fighter to help out that Koala.

  10. My heart goes out to those affected by the fires too ... it's hard to fathom such destruction. I saw this photo clip on the news today and found it touching. Sorry to have fallen so far behind but with my sister in town for a little while I have minimal time for the virtual world right now.
    Hugs and blessings,
