Not Sure What I Would Do Without Her In This Life

My mom had her big surgery yesterday and everything went well. The surgeon talked with my sister and I after the surgery and stated that it looked like the cancer had not spread and that it looked like there was only a small growth of cancer in the uterus. I'm so happy and relieved. I'm not sure what I'd do without my mom in this life. She's always been an amazing mom and an amazing friend in my adult years. We are still waiting for the pathology report to come back on the cancer growth. Though the doctor feels she won't need any chemo or radiation. Yeah! I'll keep everyone updated on my upcoming surgery. I'm just hoping once I see the endocrinologist they'll tell me that there are other options rather then surgery. Who knows, maybe I'll miraculously get better. Fingers crossed.

  1. I'm so glad to hear about your Mom. And that she doesn't have to go through all that nasty stuff! Good for her. What surgery are you going to have to have? Becki had to have a heart catherization in March. Something showed up on a lung xray that lead them to this hole in heart that was there from birth. Anyway, she's all fixed and ready to get on with living. Hope your surgery goes well.
