Stop-Loss Movie Review
After a tour in Iraq, decorated hero Sgt. Brandon King (Ryan Phillippe) returns home to his small Texas town and tries to readjust to civilian life. But when he's called up again as part of the military's controversial stop-loss program, he decides to go AWOL. Directed by Kimberly Peirce (Boys Don't Cry), this poignant drama co-stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Channing Tatum as Brandon's war buddies and Timothy Olyphant as his superior officer.
Stop-Loss was a great movie. Ryan Phillippe was fantastic as he played Sgt. Brandon King. This movie really opened my eyes to what actually happens in our military today. You really get the inside view of what is happening to our solders over seas. This movie is full of action, adventure and honor. Out of a 5 star rating it gets 4 stars from me.

We almost got this one at blockbuster the other night. Good to here it's good.
ReplyDeleteI cannot agree with you. I thought this movie drug out and I really couldn't wait for it to end. I almost literally went to bed before it was over. There were good looking people cast in this film. The content was of an important nature...but everything else was a let down.
