The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep

Rated: PG
Run Time: 112 Minutes

Angus MacMorrow (Alex Etel) watches in awe as the mysterious egg he found on the shores of a nearby loch begins to hatch into something incredible. But how long can he keep his ever-growing secret from his mother (Emily Watson) -- and an increasingly concerned Scottish government? David Morrissey co-stars in this family-friendly fantasy based on the popular children's novel by Dick King-Smith.

I have to say The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep was a very cute movie. The movie hints that this is really about the famous locness monster that was said to be sighted in Scotland during World War II and became a mystical legend. I really enjoyed watching the fantasy like monster. Though I wouldn't recommend it to very small children. The ending was definitely a tear jerker. There is some violence that might scare the little ones. Over all the film was a great fantasy film.
I give it 4 stars.
