Cloverfield Movie Review

A going-away party in Manhattan is interrupted when a mysterious, giant-sized monster launches an attack on New York City. With camcorder in hand, a small group of friends make their way out into the chaotic streets, scrambling to stay alive. Mike Vogel, Lizzy Caplan, Jessica Lucas, Michael Sta hl-David, Odet Jasmin and T.J. Miller co-star in this action-thriller produced by J.J. Abrams, creator of the hit television series "Alias" and "Lost."

I was looking forward to seeing this movie. Now after seeing it I'm just not sure what to think of this movie. All of the movie was viewed through a camcorder. What I mean is one of the characters was tapping the entire event and you got to see what he was seeing. The filming was very shaking and it kind of made me feel car sick. The acting was just okay though the plot was good. I think the movie could of had potential if it weren't for the crazy filming techniques. Over all I didn't really enjoy this movie. I'm going to give it 2 stars out of a 5 star rating.

  1. Adam was just talking about this movie and saying it made him sick with how it's filmed. I was looking forward to seeing it too. I guess not now.
