Girls Night Out

I've received this funny joke in my in box several times through the years. I never get sick of it and it always give me a good chuckle. I think it ranks up there as one of my top ten favorite jokes. It would be a shame if I didn't share it with all my blog buddies out there. So here you go. Enjoy!

Why females should avoid a girls night out after they are married....
If this does not make you laugh out loud, you have lost your sense of humor.

The other night I was invited out for a night with the "girls".
I told my husband that I would be home by midnight, 'I promise!'
Well, the hours passed and the margaritas went down way too easily.
Around 3 a.m., a bit loaded, I headed for home.

Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hallway
started up and cuckooed 3 times.
Quickly, realizing my husband would probably wake up, I
cuckooed another 9 times.
I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a
quick-witted solution, in order to escape a possible conflict with him.
Even when totally smashed... 3 cuckoos plus 9 cuckoos
totals 12 cuckoos = MIDNIGHT!

The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in.
I told him 'MIDNIGHT'... he didn't seem annoyed in the least.
Whew, I got away with that one!
Then he said 'We need a new cuckoo clock.'
When I asked him why, he said, "Well, last night our
clock cuckooed three times
then said "oh f***."
Cuckooed 4 more times,
cleared its throat,
cuckooed another three times,
giggled, cuckooed twice more, and
then tripped over the coffee table and farted".

  1. I laughed so hard at this one. I have never heard this joke before so thanks for sharing. When my Sis-in-law comes down to visit, we have a girls night in but outside. Her mom always plays babysitter. That sounds like us both but you can tell we are mommy's because we usually crash before midnight. lol

  6. I want to tell you that this new comment thing on your blog is a pain, at least for me. It doesn't want me to comment and then I have to select my comment as and it slow. I just wanted to let you know because I know I don't comment on myself and wouldn't know if someone didn't tell me.
