I don't talk about these guys much, but they're the loves of my life. Let me introduce to you Samson and Benny Boo Boo. They are both Golden Retrievers. Samson is 8 years old and Benny is 6 years old. They were my main babies until my little one came into my life. I've had many other dog breeds in my life, but the Golden Retriever is my all time favorite breed. I've never met a more intelligent, loving, obedient, patient and gentle animal. It's a joy to be a mommy to my guys. Samson and Benny are just in love with my little one. It always amazes me how tolerant these dogs are of children. I never had to worry when I brought my daughter home from the hospital. My dogs were so gentle with her and took to her immediately.

My dog, Dexter, is 3/4 yellow lab and 1/4 golden retriever. I absolutely adore him! He is is six years old and he's starting to slow down a bit. He is such a good dog and he's so good with our daughter.
ReplyDeleteWe love our Yorkie-Poo that we got on Christmas Eve, even if he peed in my house. LOL. He's great with the kids and has been a great addition to our family.

ReplyDeleteWe have a "herd" and love all things canine. Our little family consists of 2 min pins (both 6), a foster min pin from our rescue group (she's 13-been w/ us for 9 months and is part of the fam), a 10 yr old bull mastiff-lab-goofball, a 10 1/2 year old huskey girl and a 2 year old red dobe.

ReplyDeleteWe have a 1/2 Chesapeake Bay Retriever 1/2 Chow mix (you should see the purple tonuge) 2 Cats, 1 Turtle, 3 Snails and lots of guppies (we got them as feeder fish to give the turtle but they keep having babies) and come spring we should have two leapord frog tadpoles :D

ReplyDeleteGreat picture's of your dog's. We have a little over 2 year old amstaff / apbt male that's been with us since he was a tiny little old thing at 7 weeks old along with some goldfish as well.

ReplyDeleteMethinks you know I live with Molly and Ms Kitty but I've had several pooches before Molly who have all lived long happy lives to the age of 16.
