Gosh, Another Funeral.

I just got off the phone with one of my close friends and she told me they were on the way to a funeral. Her friends dad had passed away. I dread funerals and all their sadness. A few years ago we had several funerals of our own to attend. My aunts and uncles were getting up in age and they were only a few years apart from each other in age. It was a hard year for our family. It got me thinking about funeral costs. I've read that the average funeral cost around $6,000 or more. When it's my time I want everything to be as pain free as possible for my family. It's always good to plan ahead so your loved ones don't have to fork out all kinds of cash for a funeral on top of dealing with their grief.

  1. Funerals sure are expensive. Its a good idea to have all that paid for and plans made before one passes. Then family doesn't have to do it. But sometimes it's a surprise.

  2. Cremation is a huge cost saver. No coffin and they don't have to dig as deep. We can cram all our family members in the same plot and save all kinds of money this way.
