It's official, today is my 39th birthday. Yup, four days after Christmas is a hard birthday to have. It's no fun sharing my special day with the holidays. Though my mom each and every year makes a big deal on my birthday. I still have a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that I've been around for 39 years. I really don't feel like I'm 39. Gosh, where did the years go. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was turning 18. It's so true what they say. As you get older the years go by so much faster. In celebration of my birthday my mom put on a big feast for my immediate family. It was an enjoyable night just sitting around after dinner and enjoying the company of my family. I also received some really sweet e-cards and emails from a few close friends. Thanks guys. It's always nice to be thought of.
