Holy Moly, Does It Ever End?

I'm apologizing if this post sounds like I'm off my rocker, or I just don't know what I'm talking about. I'm a sick and tired mommy today. Let me start at the beginning. Two weeks ago my little one came down with the stomach flue. Refer back to my post titled We've been invaded by the worst strain of the stomach flu that medical professionals have ever come across if you want to read about the drama. The stomach flue lasted a week. Just when I though we were in the clear the cold symptoms started. Of course I have the worst pediatrician in the world. My little one was crying in pain yesterday. She was complaining about her ear. She just hasn't been the same since our home was invaded by this stomach flu. I tried to make a doctors appointment, but my pediatrician's office had absolutely no appointments. How is that possible when there is sick child involved? Their suggestion was to bring my little one in to their office during their early drop in times. Which is between 7 and 8 am. I'm so fed up with this doctors office that I told them I was going to find a new pediatrician, which is exactly what I did yesterday. I called the new doctor and amazingly got an appointment. I was so happy. We had our appointment this morning and I'm so pleased with this new practice. The doctor was so thorough and the office staff was so nice. The doctor spent two hours with us going through my little one's medical history and trying to figure out what's going on with her health. It’s true when they say the best referral is a referral from a friend or family member. This is exactly where I got the new pediatricians name and number. From my mom’s friend who is a doctor and takes her children to the same practice. I’m so glad I listened to my mom. It's not like a have a child that doesn’t have some health problems. She does. She's has anaphylactic food allergies to dairy, eggs and shell fish. She has to carry an EPI pen with her at all times. She also has a lazy eye problem. None of these health problems were diagnosed by the old pediatrician. Mommy is the one who discovered these problems. When I brought these problems to the doctors attention I was completely blown off by the doctor. She treated me like I was a paranoid mother. Which , by the way, I’m not.. Anyway back to the problem at hand. After getting chest x-rays the doctor diagnosed my little one with Phenomena.. I had absolutely no idea that she was this sick. Kids can sure hide their symptoms. I've just come to the conclusion that my little one's previous pediatrician is just out to make the big bucks without any concern for the child. Ahhhhhhh!!!!! It makes me so mad!!!! To make a long story short my little one is on antibiotics right now and resting comfortably. Now, mommy just need to get herself into the doctors because she's sure she has the same thing. I'm starting to go down hill fast. Ugggg! I don't think I'm going to have the energy to post for a few days. I really need to take some time to rest and get better. So I'm apologizing in advance for my absence. Happy blogging and I'll be by to visit everyone soon.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs
