Mad Money Movie Review

Rated: PG-13
Run Time: 104 Minutes

Well-off Bridget Cardigan (Diane Keaton) faces a big cutback in her standard of living when her husband (Ted Danson) gets sacked. After taking a graveyard shift janitorial job at the Federal Reserve Bank, she conspires with two fellow employees to pilfer old money that's scheduled to be destroyed. Based on a true story and directed by Callie Khouri, this comic caper also stars Queen Latifah and Katie Holmes as Bridget's partners in crime.

I'm a big fan of Diane Keaton and Queen Latifah. So I decided to rent this flick because it was based on a true story. They are both fabulous in Mad Money. This movie had a little bit of everything. It was funny, serious and sad all at the same time. It has a great story line and a true to life theme. The husband and I really enjoyed watching it. Out of a 5 star rating I'm going to give it a 4.

  1. Oh I wanted to see this one too! We have had no time to watch a movie lately. Maybe we can fit it in this weekend.
